Laser cleaning is a new green and safe cleaning method with many advantages, including no direct contact, environmentally friendly, automation, high cleaning precision, selective cleaning, a wide range of cleaning materials, no damage to the substrate, etc. Laser hardening is used as selective and partial heat treatment to the mould, which doesn’t produce any shape-changing and is efficient. It is proven that this process will increase the life of the mould by 3 ~ 5 times.
